REVIEW: Schism Debut Single 'The Hanging Sun'
'Winds of Change’.. Hmmm.. An interesting
concept . Very relevant when it comes to metal too. Metal in its
rather recent past has seen several such gusts of air blowing over the
scene. Gushing in new genres with one sweet stroke and then ripping them
apart after their rather short visit. So bands pretty much have a tough
time staying afloat and relevant. With the millennium we’ve seen a
zillion genres taking birth and then dying off prematurely. Metalcore
for one has been battling for life and is barely seeing it through. All
the genre-bashing riff raffs aside the fact remains this is very much a
genre of metal.
